The courses and activities may cover "technical, ethical, or
managerial topics that shall be "relevant to the practice of
engineering."
Accepted activities include (a) completing college or university courses,
(b) completing courses awarding CEU credits, (c) attending seminars and workshops
or successfully completion of online courses, (d) authoring, teaching,
or presenting courses, (e) publishing papers, articles, or books, (f)
receiving a U.S. patent, or (g) being an officer or active committee
of an engineering society. See Board website for more

Course Approval
The Board does not pre-approve specific courses. Each engineer must determine whether an activity
meets the Board's requirements.
Sponsor Approval
The Board does not pre-approve course sponsors.
